A successful industrialization path usually builds on access to and effective utilization of clean, advanced & digital technologies for manufacturing and processing as this builds the ground for becoming part of the global value chain and international trade flows.

Indeed, for the achievement of the objectives of the African Agenda 2063 by higher rates of socio-economic development it is important to attract adequate investors and skills to allow for more local ownership in the essential strategic sectors while advancing with breath-taking innovations and rapid market-building in Africa.

On Wednesday, 18 August at 09:00 – 10:30 o’clock CEST the EU Tech Chamber brings together experts from Africa, India and Europe to combine local expertise with fit-for-purpose international skills and resources, so to provide latest insights into innovative technologies and concepts to make a real impact in the continent. To start with such fruitful partnerships Africa Chapter Director Marcus Wiemann will join this talk and give the introductions.
